PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window type window cover device used for drying washings cleanly and safely or for the other purpose. SOLUTION: This cover device includes a window cover main body 11 which has such a size as to cover one window body, and has such a three-dimensional structure as to use the interior as a storing part for clothes for drying, and a fitting means 20 for fitting the window cover main body 11 to a double sliding window. The fitting means 20 has engaging members 23, 23', 24, 24' engaged with the upper and lower rails 21, 22 installed on the rail part of the double sliding window on the inner upper and lower sides of the window cover main body 11.
