<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system for a diesel engine to easily and effectively remove soot and dust without using a power. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas discharged from a diesel engine 2 is guided through an exhaust pipe to a container body 1 to contain liquid 5. Through the passage of exhaust gas through liquid 5 in the container body 1, sooth and dust are removed and exhaust gas is purified. In a so formed exhaust emission control system for the diesel engine 2, a collision plate 6 is arranged in a state to be partially immersed in the liquid 5 in the container body 1. Exhaust gas is collided with the collision plate 6 in the liquid 5 and the liquid 5 is rolled up in air and soot and dust in the exhaust gas are trapped for removal in the liquid 5 and by the rolled up liquid, whereby sooth and dust in the exhaust gas are very effectively removed before the exhaust gas is discharged in the atmosphere. Since constitution is very simple, manufacture at a low cost is practicable.</p> |
