<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen an electronic equipment in size and thickness by a method wherein a cooling fan used for cooling a heat releasing part installed in an electronic equipment is dispensed with, or a cooling fan is lessened in size. SOLUTION: An air flow disc 100 is mounted on a CD-ROM drive 4 in place of a CD-ROM disk, and the CD-ROM drive 4 is driven. The disk 100 is nearly as large as a CD-ROM disk and equipped with vanes, and the vanes are rotated to generate an air flow. An air flow is indicated as follows: Outside air is sucked in through an opening 4a and made to flow from a duct 4b to a CPU 2. Air heated by heat released from the CPU 2 is cooled down and discharged out of a personal computer main body 1 through slits 3.</p> |
