PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a case by simplifying the structure of a terminal fitting, and improving manufacturability and material handling and to prevent the terminal fitting from readily unlocking from the case by increasing the locking margin for the terminal fitting and the case. SOLUTION: A terminal device has a terminal fitting 11 and a case 12 which encloses the terminal fitting 11. The terminal fitting 11 is provided with a projecting bent piece part 21 having a mid part projected to one side, a wire contact piece part 22 cut and raised from one side of the bent piece part 21, and locking piece parts 23 at both ends of the bent piece part 21. The case 12 is provided with an opening 32, into which the terminal fitting 11 is inserted, a mounting part 33 where each locking piece part 23 at each end is locked to the edge of the opening 32, and a wire insertion part 34 in which the wire contact piece part 22 is disposed.
