摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage carbonizer designed so that it may have an assembly adaptable for the treatment of a low-energy garbage as well as for the treatment of a high-energy garbage, the treatment capacity may be heightened, and the production cost may be reduced and that the assured supply of a theoretical amount of air and the perfect combustion may be realized even when it treats a high-energy garbage. SOLUTION: This carbonizer consists of a main unit X, a connection pipe Y, and an accessory Z. The main unit has a carbonization chamber B into which garbage is introduced; a heating chamber provided with a heating means; a combustion chamber C1 into which the heat decomposition gas produced in the chamber B is introduced and which is provided with an air supply means for supplying combustion air and a combustion means; and a cage which contains the respective chambers. The accessory has a cage h capable of being connected to the cage of the main unit; a combustion chamber C2 contained in the cage h; and an air supply means 23 which supplies auxiliary combustion air into the chamber C2. The connection pipe Y is capable of connecting the discharge port of the chamber C1 of the main unit to the suction point of the chamber C2 of the accessory and is freely attached or detached from at least the intake port of the combustion chamber of the accessory.
