PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter high in strength and inexpensive and consisting of a wire net in which a longitudinal wire and a latitudinal wire are held in a hardly released state by pinching the end parts of a filter main body and a reinforcing body by a ring shaped rim and fixing these. SOLUTION: A reinforcing body 3 formed in cylindrical with a wire net rough in mesh is disposed in the inside of a filter 1 consisting of the wire net fine in mesh and end parts of the both are calked and fixed in one body with a rim. The reinforcing body 3 is produced by using a welded wire net obtained by welding a longitudinal wire 3a and a latitudinal wire 3b at each crossing part as a base stock, therefor, the bending work to a cylindrical shape is easy and also the strength can be increased.
