SUBSTANCE: generator excitation winding is manually disconnected by unscrewing the connector assembly from the driver's seat. The connector socket corresponding to the excitation winding gets connected to the wire running from the generator armature through an insulated wire, the other end of the generator armature is preliminarily disconnected from terminal "" of the generator regulator. The method allows to transfer generator of any tank within 4-5 minutes to welding operation directly from the driver's seat preventing any damage to supply line loads. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
