PURPOSE: To enable a player to physically feel reaction force or impact force resembling that in a real firing operation, and improve the appearance of a gun model, in a gun game machine. CONSTITUTION: A player enjoys a game, manually holding a gun model 6a or 6b separated from a game machine enclosure. An externally exposed slide cover 17 is fitted to the upper barrel section 8 of each of the models 6a and 6b, so as to make it slidable thereon in a lengthwise direction (i.e., right and left directions in the illustration). When a trigger 11 is pulled, the slide cover 17 is actuated with a solenoid 19, and instantaneously reciprocates at high speed in a backward direction, thereby applying such a reaction or impact force as corresponding to a firing operation. A pseudo-hammer section 16 projected backward prevents the slide cover 17 in backward motion from colliding with the player. Also, the gun models 6a and 6b can be connected to the game machine enclosure via flexible cables 5a and 5b. |
