FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: cereal heap roll unwinder has housing, chain-and-plank conveyors, auger, roll binding cord removing device with segmented gripping and cutting unit. When flap is lowered, teeth of segmented unit pass through slit in flap to make cut along the whole length of roll and cut binding cord. Row of gripping teeth provide gripping of binding cord. Lever beam is lifted and binding cord is withdrawn from roll. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities by removing binding cord, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 dwg
