FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine-positioning mechanism is made as round table considering of two parts coupled by thread. Lower part of round table is mounted in bearing on stationary axle secured to machine base. Rod is secured in upper part of round table. Threaded end of rod carries lever which may impart swinging or rotating motion to round table. Threaded part of rod is fitted with nut pressing bush which provides for fixing of threaded connection of round table upper and lower parts while thrusting upon threaded cover of lower part of round table.
