PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a learner to effectively and comprehensively carry out KANJI (Chinese character) learning by effectively utilizing the visual and auditory sensation relating to the stroke order and numbers of strokes of KANJI and further inserting a spot and stroke caution narration. SOLUTION: A KANJI card is displayed on a screen (step A1). The KANJI card is provided with a KANJI display part, a stroke order button, etc. When the stroke order button is pushed (step S2), stroke order animation, numbers-of- strokes narration and spot and stroke caution narration are executed. The stroke order animation displays the stroke order in the form of successively adding the strokes by one stroke each from the first stroke to the final stroke of KANJI (step A3). The numbers-of-strokes narration outputs the numbers of strokes by voices in synchronization with the stroke order animation. Arabic numerals are changed over by one stroke each and are displayed on a total numbers-of-strokes display part. If there is the spot and stroke to be particularly cautioned, the single stroke caution narration is inserted right behind the numbers-of-strokes narration thereof. When the stroke order button is pushed again (step A4), the stroke order animation or the like described above is restarted.
