PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a device without decay of luminescent brightness for long- hour drive and with excellence in durability by satisfying a specific relation of a mass spectroscopic spectrum in at least one layer of organic compound layers of a device which the organic compound layers having at least an organic luminescent layer are sandwiched and held by a pair of electrodes. SOLUTION: This device is that a mass spectroscopic spectrum in at least one layer of an organic compound satisfies Formula I (in Formula I, IM is the intensity at a main peak, and ISn is the intensity at the nth peak of each sub- peak). Preferably, the device is that a mass spectroscopic spectrum in at least one layer of organic compound satisfies the relation of Formula I and Formula II (in Formula II, MMW is the mass at a main peak, and SMWn is the mass at the nth peak of each sub-peak), the degree of vacuum when depositing is 10-5 to 10-7 Torr, the distance between a substrate to be deposited and a material to deposit when depositing is 5 to 60 cm, and a deposition rate is 0.1 to 40Å/sec.
