PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for solid detectors for CTs which increases the precision of arrangement of detector arrays, and uses unexpensive scintillator crystals. SOLUTION: First of all, a scintillator bar crystal 1 having a square cross section is glued onto a base 3 with an optical adhesive agent 2 (a). In parallel to the scintillator bar crystal 1 having a square cross section, a plurality of grooves 4 are cut at specified pitches with a multi-wire saw, a diamond cutter, etc., and each scintillator element 1a having a specified shape is formed (b). At this time, grooves 4 are cut up to the lower end of the scintillator crystal 1 having a square cross section or the depth of the optical adhesive agent 2, and are not cut deeper than that. And putting reflecting materials 8 on both sides of a shielding board 7 put at the center, they are inserted into each groove 4 stuck (c). Next, a photodiode array 5 is glued and fixed in addition onto scintillator elements 1a through the use of an adhesive agent 6 (d).
