PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal power voltage generating circuit which reduces the current flowing through a circuit for a standby mode when in standby mode and also performs the switching operation from a standby mode to an active mode at high speed. SOLUTION: This voltage generating circuit is equipped with a differential comparator circuit 10 for an active mode which is enabled according to a control signal CSIVC, compares the difference between reference voltage SREF and internal power source voltage VINT, and outputs an output signal VG when it is in active mode; a differential comparison circuit 12 for a standby mode which compares the difference between the reference voltage SREF and the internal power voltage VINT when it is in active mode and a standby mode; and an output driver 14 which generates internal power voltage VINT, according to the output signal VG of the differential circuit 10 for an active mode and the differential comparison circuit for a standby mode. |
