PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add desired reverberating sounds using collected impulse responses. SOLUTION: Original impulse responses are separated into the ones corresponding to direct sounds and initial reflection sounds and reverberating sounds. A point N1, where the impulse response of a direct sound starts, a point N2, where the impulse responses of the direct sound and an initial reflection sound are completed, and a point N3, where the impulse response of a reverberating sound starts, are indicated by the data related to the impulse responses. The values of the impulse responses corresponding to the direct sound and the initial reflection sound are adjusted and are synthesized with the impulse response corresponding to the reverberating sound. Then, reverberating sounds are generated by folding in audio data and the synthesized impulse responses and added to original sounds. |
