<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an icon menu display method which can shorter a user's operation time and to provide a display device having its function. SOLUTION: An operation history is stored in an icon priority memory 1 in such order that an icon that a user selects and determine has a priority level 1 (latest), an icon selected and determined before it has a priority level 2 (2nd recent), and an icon selected and determined before the 2nd one has a priority level 3 (3rd recent). Each time the user operates an icon menu again, the icon menu is displayed by replacing the display positions of icons in the decreasing operation history order of higher priority levels stored in the icon priority memory 1. At the same time, the icon having the priority 1 is selected with a cursor.</p> |
