PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp provided with a base in which an arc tube or an arc tube provided with an outer tube can be stably fixed to the base, and in which light distribution characteristics will not be fluctuated by vibration etc., during running. SOLUTION: An arc tube 1 is provided in an outer tube 6 comprising hard glass, and an end part of the outer tube 6 is sealed to an end part of a sealing part 1b of the arc tube 1. On an outer circumference of the outer tube 6, a circular metal holding body 5 with a caulking part 9 formed thereon is provided. The arc tube 1 is provided as one end part of the light emitting tube 1 is inserted into a center part of a base 7, and it is supported and fixed to the base 7 by the holding body 5 and a metal holding body support piece 8 provided on the base 7. The holding body support piece 8 and the holding body 5 are fixed by welding. |
