PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant wire excellent in oil resistance, water resistance, heat aging resistance, stability in severe environment, flexibility, etc. SOLUTION: In an electric wire using polyester elastomer composition as coating material, the polyester elastomer comprises a high fusing point hard segment comprising aromatic dicarboxylic acid having naphthalene rings as a main acid component, and aliphatic and/or alicyclic dihydroxy compound as a main glycol-component, which is copolymerized with a low fusing point polymer segment of a molecular weight of 400-1700, and it satisfies an expression (I). (I) 1.20<=IV<=3.00 (dl/g), where IV refers to a reduced viscosity.
