PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insertion port, for a recording medium used in various acoustic apparatuses such as a car audio cassette reproducing apparatus or the like, which is provided with an illumination part as its position guide at low costs, which increases its dignity and its originality and which is discriminated from similar products. SOLUTION: In an escutcheon panel 2 on the surface of a cassette tape reproducing apparatus, milkwhite characters 5 which use a light transmitting member are formed on a dust cover 3 which is provided at an insertion port 1 for a cassette tape, two lamps 8 which illuminate the dust cover 3 are provided on the rear side of the dust cover 3, and the display characters 5 stand out in the insertion port 1 for the cassette tape. In addition, a leaf switch which turns off the respective lamps 8 by the opening operation of the dust cover 3 is installed at the insertion port 1 for the cassette tape, and the lamps 8 are turned off when the cassette tape is inserted into the insertion port 1 so that an inside structure is not visible.
