PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the warpage of a recording medium by forming multilayered films including recording layers to induce a reversible state change in an amorphous state on the one main surface of a first substrate, crystallizing these films and bonding the first and second substrates to each other with the main surfaces on the inner side. SOLUTION: The substrates 1 and 2 are produced as the substrates having such warpage at which their respective signal surfaces constitute projecting surfaces. The multilayered films 3 and 4 are formed on the signal surfaces of such substrates 1 and 2 in order of the lower dielectric layers, the recording layers of a phase transition type, the upper dielectric layers and the reflection layers. Next, protective films 5 and 6 for protecting the multilayered films including the recording layers are formed by applying a UV curing type adhesive by a spin coating method and are cured by irradiating these films with UV rays. The recording layers are then crystallized by a laser method and further, the UV curing type adhesive is applied by a screen printing method on the signal surfaces of the substrates 1 and 2 covered with the protective layers and are irradiated with the UV rays, by which the substrates 1 and 2 are bonded.
