PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card carrying device for smoothly ejecting a card from a card ejection port. SOLUTION: In this card carrying device, a card 10 is carried through a card carrying path 12 while the card is held by a driving roller 18 so that the card 10 can be ejected from a card ejection port 16. In this case, a recess 13 equipped with an arc-shaped inner face similar to an orbital face drawn by the edge face at the rear side in the advancing direction F of the card 10 when the card is ejected under the condition where the upper side is free is provided at the upper face part of the card carrying path 12 at the position between the card ejection port 16 and the driving roller 18.
