PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card carrying device capable of allowing a card to smoothly project from a card ejection port. SOLUTION: In this card carrying device, a card 10 is allowed to project from a card ejection port 16 by interposing the port of the surface of the card 10 shifted from a center line CL in an advancing direction F by a driving roller 18 for carrying the card through a card carrying path 12. In this case, a first protruding guide 20 which can be brought into contact with the part of the surface of the card 10 shifted from the center line CL in the advancing direction F to the side interposed by the driving roller 18 and a second protruding guide 22 which can be brought into contact with the part shifted from the center line CL in the advancing direction F to the other side while the frictional force of the part to be brought into contact with the card 10 is made smaller than the frictional force of the part of the first protruding guide 20 to be brought into contact with the card 10 are provided in the card carrying path 12 between the card ejection port 16 and the driving roller 18.
