PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner from intruding into a contact part, to reduce the production of the coarse grains of toner and to prevent an image defect such as a vertical white strip from occurring by supporting the non-driving side of a stirring bar by a hole formed at a developing device, shaping one part or the whole part of the hole into an inclined surface and freely rotatably supporting a stirring member. SOLUTION: The side wall 3c of the non-driving side of a toner housing container is provided with the conical bearing hole 8 being almost cylindrical. Since the hole 8 is formed so that the entrance diameter (b) (about 2.05 mm) is larger than the inner diameter (a) (about 1.75 mm), the inclined surface 8a is formed. Then, the inclined surface 8a and the tip edge 7d of the stirring bar 7 about on each other and the bar 7 is rotatably supported. Besides, this numerical value is one example and it can be properly selected. By making a supporting part smaller than conventional constitution and supporting the bar 7 in a narrower area, such occasion that the coarse grains of the toner are produced is sharply decreased. Thus, the coarse grains of the toner are not produced. |
