PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storage device whose replacement operability is not spoiled, which reduces a vibration due to the high-speed rotation of a storage medium and whose reliability is improved. SOLUTION: A storage device has a fixation frame which rotatably holds a disklike storage medium. It is provided with a storage-medium holding device 24 wherein a mass body 27 which can be moved relatively to the fixation frame on a plane at right angles to the axial center of the rotation of the storage medium is composed and a vibration control means 28 which gives a movement resisting force in a relative movement between the mass body 27 and the fixation frame and by which the vibration energy of the fixation frame by the resisting force in the rotation of the storage medium is attenuated is composed.
