PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system with which the protection of password is reinforced. SOLUTION: When a user performs log-on to a local computer 7, a user name and unique arbitrary phrase are inputted from a keyboard 12. At the same time, a unique arbitrary phrase inputted from the keyboard 12 and a key for password generation required for operation are inputted by a removable disk 13. Based on the unique arbitrary phrase inputted through a keyboard input part 1 and the key inputted from the removable disk 13 through a keyboard input part 2, a password generating part 3 generates the password. The password generated by the password generating part 3 is certified by retrieving a password registered in a password register part 4 from the user name through a password collating part 4 and comparing inputted passwords with registered ones. |
