PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make overall data and a detailed situation simultaneously confirmable by stacking a strip-like display for displaying a trend of the value of the overall data for every channel of a screen as color bars, and simultaneously displaying partially enlarged waveform display at each display. SOLUTION: A data memory 1 stores display waveform data. A process controller 2 executes a program stored in a program memory 3, receives input information of an input unit 4, reads the data of the memory 2, and plots the controller 2. The controller 2 refers to a color table, obtains a display color corresponding to the data at each channel, and strip-like displays an overview display area of a window screen. Simultaneously, a waveform of a range enlarged and designated to the waveform display area is graphically displayed with designated channel colors. When a scroll button of the waveform display area is clicked by a mouse of the unit 4, the display waveform is translated to the right and left, and a frame displayed on the overview display area is similarly translated.
