摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the volume change of a liquid with consistency by confining a layer of a liquid with consistency in a part of a rigid body, applying a physical or chemical process, and measuring a linear deviation on the surface to be formed. SOLUTION: A layer of consistency liquid 101 is confined in a vessel 104 of a rigid body 100. After the consistency liquid layer comprising a flat surface is confined in the vessel 104, a probe is equilibrated on a layer of the consistency liquid 101. Normally the prove is equilibrated on the surface of layer of the consistency liquid 101 so that the axis at a tip end is vertical to the surface of consistency liquid layer under a force about 10 mg or less. After equilibrium, the thickness of a consistency liquid layer is acquired and the thickness is acquired relative to the bottom surface of vessel. After the thickness of consistency liquid layer is acquired, the consistency liquid is at least partially allowed to react by an arbitrary method such as exposure to light, heat, etc. As reacted, the surface of consistency liquid layer and the probe tip end contacting it are deviated in the direction vertical to the layer surface. The deviation is a measurement for linear deviation as the consistency liquid react. Then the voluminal change of a consistency liquid which partially reacted is acquired as a function of a linear deviation for the consistency liquid layer.
