METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATED DISPLAY OF PROCESS EVENT AND TREND VARIATION DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for skill in computer and to shorten the operation time by displaying a trend variation chart including the values of process parameters and an event table containing information wherein process events are described. SOLUTION: A work station 10 is connected to a primary control network 12 and connected by a primary hub 14 to a process controller 16 which controls an input/output subsystem 20. This input/output subsystem 20 is connected to a process sensor and other devices in a process plant and obtains information from them. The work station 10 generates the trend variation chart showing >=1 selected process parameters in selected time windows and displays them on a display screen and also generates and displays the event table containing information wherein process events generated in the selected time windows are described in relation to the selected process parameters.
