PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate easily the directions of a laminated piezoelectric transformer by a method wherein a mark for discriminating the directions is formed on the surface of the piezoelectric ceramic layer on one side of the piezoelectric ceramic layers on both main surfaces of the outermost layer of a laminated piezoelectric body. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric transformer is provided with a rectangular flat plate- shaped laminated piezoelectric body 1 formed by a method, wherein a plurality of sheets of piezoelectric ceramic green sheets are pressure-bonded by lamination, are calcined and the green sheets are integrally formed, and the piezoelectric body 1 is sectioned into two regions of a driving part A and a generating part B setting the almost central part in the longitudinal direction of the body 1 as the boundary between the parts A and B. A plurality of internal electrodes 22i are formed in opposition to each other on the almost whole surface among piezoelectric ceramic layers of the part A of such the laminated piezoelectric body 1 and a quadrangular point- shaped electrode film 5 is formed on the upper surface, which is positions on the side of the part A, of the uppermost layer of the piezoelectric ceramic layer. This electrode film 5 is formed so as to provide as a mark for discriminating the left and right of the body 1 and the front and back of the body 1.
