摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent degradation in SN by micrifying the recording region when two-dimensional data information is recorded as a hologram and to record the two-dimensional data information in a high density by micrifying the recording region. SOLUTION: Binary two-dimensional digital data images are displayed on a spatial optical modulator and the light passing the spatial optical modulator is transmitted through the light transparent parts formed as a circular shape by each of the respective pixels of the spatial optical modulator of a mask to obtain the light transmitted through the mask, to hold the two-dimensional data information. The signal light 1 formed to the circular shape in the shape of the signal light components of the respective pixels is obtained. The signal light 1 is subjected to Fourier transform by a lens and is transmitted through the light transparent parts of a light shielding body for the purpose of micrifying of the recording regions. An optical recording medium is irradiated with the light. Simultaneously, reference light is transmitted through the light transparent parts of the light shielding body and the regions to be irradiated with the signal light after the Fourier transform of the optical recording medium is irradiated with the light. As a result, the unstable corner portions leading to the degradation in SN in the signal light components in the respective pixels of the signal light 1 are removed and the degradation in SN by micrifying of the recording regions is prevented. The formation of the shape of the signal light components of the respective pixels to a polygonal shape approximate to the circular shape is equally well.
