PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such spectacles that enable a user to assure a sufficient visual field even when wearing the spectacles or even at the time of naked eyes by using a simple mechanism, entirely eliminate the restrictions on the visual field to eliminate fatigue, prevent the degradation in the workability near the user's hands due to hanging down of the spectacles to the chest at the time of the naked eyes, enable the user to instantaneously wear or remove the spectacles in any case of wearing or removing the spectacles to and from the naked eyes and enable the user to prevent the danger by immediately springing up the spectacles when the visual field is shielded when dew condensation is generated on the spectacles by the moisture and the change of temp. SOLUTION: Both ends of a cord 4 are mounted to temples 1 of the spectacles or front parts 2 of the temples 1 and this cord 4 is adapted to exist at the rear head part to prevent pads 3 from slipping from the forehead when the spectacles are sprung up to the forehead. The cord 4 is partly provided with an elastic body 5. When the spectacles are sprung up to the forehead, the elastic body 5 begins to mainly act very small tensile force on the spectacles and, therefore, there is no odd feel even when the spectacles are used for a long time.
