PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system for diagnosing the hot lines of power cables in which cost can be reduced, a measuring person is not restricted during measurement, and data management can be automated. SOLUTION: The system for diagnosing the hot lines of power cables is provided with a movable grounding part 13 built in a terminal box 12 for grounding to put together grounding wires connected to the shielding layers of a plurality of power cables to be diagnosed, a circuit switching device 15 to select the above-mentioned power cables, a movable center part 14 which can be connected to the movable grounding part 13 and the circuit switching device 15, and a measuring device 16. The movable center part 14 is connected to the movable grounding part 13 prior to measurement and connected to the circuit switching device 15 during measurement. Between the movable center part 14, the movable grounding part 13, and the circuit switching part 15, connecting mechanisms formed by sockets 18a and 18b for connection and plugs 19a and 19b for connection to connect one another electrically are provided.
