PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collector in which a pulse light beam can be irradiated from each of a plurality of light emitting elements toward pavement through one optical lens and the emission efficiency of the light emitting element, and thereby an accurate vehicle data, can be acquired while reducing the mounting size thereof on a mounting board. SOLUTION: The data collector comprises an optical lens 14 for light emission, a lens holder 12 for supporting the optical lens 14, a plurality of light emitting elements 16A-16D arranged such that the emitted pulse light beams pass through the optical lens 14, and an element for receiving the pulse light beam reflected on pavement or a vehicle. The light emitting elements 16A-16D are driven sequentially and the output from the light receiving element is processed thus collecting a data concerning to the vehicle.
