PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable connection between an optical fiber of an optical scanning probe and an optical fiber on an observation device side, even if a slippage between shafts, an inclination of an angle or a looseness in the axial direction exists between a rotary shaft of a torque transfer means installed on a connector part of the optical scanning probe and a rotary shaft of a rotary driving means installed on the observation device. SOLUTION: A base end of a fourth single-mode fiber 10 arranged inside a flexible shaft 40 in an optical scanning probe is installed on an optical connector 73 inside a connector part 9. The optical connector 73 composes a rotary driving device on the observation device side by an elastic force of a spring 74 in a spring sheet 72 contacted with a shaft stopper 68 inner face. A single mode fiber 88 is inserted through the center of the driving device, and connected so as to be pressed by a rotary shaft 76 driven rotatively. Even if a slippage in the axial direction exists, stable connection between the base end of the fourth single-mode fiber 10 and the head of the single mode fiber 88 is enabled, by absorbing the slippage by a rotationally-symmetrical spherical part 68a on the inner face of the shaft stopper 68, or the like.
