PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage owing to the heat generation of a voice coil by adopting a cone diaphragm made of plastic and thereby to improve the quality and reliability of a speaker. SOLUTION: In this electrodynamic type speaker unit provided with the cone diaphragm 1 made of the plastic and a vibration source 2 for driving it by electric magnetic force, reinforcement by a heat insulating material 16 is executed at a connection part with the voice coil 4 to the cone diaphragm 1. By the structure, even when the voice coil 4 generates heat, the cone diaphragm 1 is not deformed or damaged, a regular state is kept at all times and the sound of excellent quality is generated.
