<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share the connectors of respective interfaces of the basic group and primary group of an ISDN line although the interfaces of the basic and primary groups are provided based on the kinds of the interface of the basic group and the interface of the primary group according to the differences of electric characteristics between both groups. SOLUTION: At the time of reception, an automatic transmission rate recognition part 2 recognizes the transmission rates of the basic group and primary group, and a frame structure recognition part 3 extracts F bits from the constitution frame of the basic or primary group and sends the primary group bit sequence to an interface processing function part 4 when the bits match the primary group multiframe pattern. The interface processing function part 4 performs a protocol process and format conversion and stores the result in a common buffer 5. When the extracted F bits match the basic group multiframe pattern, the basic group bit sequence is sent to the interface processing function part 4 and stored in the common buffer 5.</p> |
