PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FEEPROM disk managing system capable of prolonging the service life of a memory even without providing any special circuit inside a disk device. SOLUTION: An FEEPROM disk 306 is composed of three areas of a disk area 401 for storing data blocks to be managed by this filing system, a substitutive page managing area 402 for storing an address block to write the address of the data blocks in the rewritten disk area and a substitutive page area 403 for storing substitutive blocks to write the data blocks to be rewritten. For the read/write request of data block from the filing system to the disk area 401, a device driver provided outside the disk 306 checks the substitutive page managing area 402, judges whether it is the read/write to the disk area 401 or the substitutive page area 403 and performs the read/write control in the relevant area.
