<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a bar code reader for automatically judging the position of a bar code reader by a simple method. SOLUTION: In this method for driving a bar code reader 16, one or more bar codes 25 and 26 are detected at different positions x1 and x2 in the scan area of the bar code reader 16, and scan distances d1 and d2 between the bar code reader 16 and the detected bar codes 25 and 26 are detected, and the position x0, y0, and z0 and/or scan angleα,β,γof the bar code reader 16 is detected from the detected scan distances d1 and d2 and already know position data x1 and x2 of the detected bar codes 25 and 26.</p> |
