PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt-type photoreceptor having large mechanical strength even for repeated use with which good images can be stably obtd. without image defects such as black spots due to cracks, by specifying the ratio of the Young's modulus of a charge transfer layer to the Young's modulus of a binder resin which constitutes the layer. SOLUTION: This belt-type electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer consisting of at least a charge producing layer and charge transfer layer on a belt-type supporting body. As for the belt-type supporting body, a polymer material having 50 to 100 pm film thickness is used, and a light- transmitting polymer material such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate is used as the raw material. The ratio of the Young's modulus E1 of the charge transfer layer to the Young's modulus E2 of the binder resin which constitutes the layer satisfies E1/E2>1.3, and preferably E1/E2<2.0. |
