PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting system capable of specifying a present position with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The position detecting system mounted at a moving target to detect a present position of the target comprises an input means for inputting information of a present location, a vibration detecting means 2 for detecting a vibration of the target, a moving direction detecting means 3 for detecting a moving direction of the target, an operation detecting means 5 for photographing the target to detect the operation of the target, and a position detecting means for detecting the present position of the object by obtaining the moving speed of the target detected by the means 5, correcting the moving direction detected by the means 3 based on the operation of the target detected by the mans 5 and updating the information input by the input means based on the moving speed and the moving direction. |
