PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current estimation device/method of an integrated circuit, which can statistically estimate operation current flowing in the integrated circuit containing not only a combination circuit but also an order circuit. SOLUTION: A logic circuit reading part 11 reading logic circuit data a sequential circuit processing part 12 considering the output of the order circuit to be equal to signal input when a sequential circuit is contained in logic circuit data which is read by the logic circuit reading part 11 and substituting it for circuit data, an indefinite waveform generation part 13 generating an indefinite waveform corresponding to logic structure based on logic circuit data processed by the sequential circuit processing part 12, a gate data part 14 holding the delay time of switching and current quantity data for respective gates, which are previously obtained, a current calculation part 15 calculating a current value based on the indefinite waveform generated in the indefinite waveform generation part 13 and holding data of the gate data part 15 and obtaining the upper limit of the maximum current value are installed.
