PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance type immersion pressure water level gage which is excellent in resistance to noise and can highly accurately detect a water level. SOLUTION: The capacitance-type immersion pressure water level gage includes a pressure detecting element 2 for detecting a pressure functioning to a pressure receiving face 2a from a change in electrostatic capacitance wherein the pressure receiving face 2a of the pressure detecting element 2 is placed at an opening 1a of a housing 1 made of an insulating material such as a resin. The pressure receiving face 2a of the pressure detecting element 2 is covered by a diaphragm 10 comprising an insulating material for closing an opening end of the opening 1a of the housing 1 and a pressure transfer medium 11 sealed between the diaphragm 10 and the pressure receiving face 2a of the pressure detecting element 2.
