PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent time until the utilization of a server from being different from normal time even in the case of any fault at the server. SOLUTION: Concerning the distributed processing system having a client 101, server group 102 having an active server and reserve server 103 and trader 104 provided with a processor to be operated by program control and a storage device for storing information, this system has a fault monitoring means 110 for reporting the location of a new active server to the client 101, which utilizes the server, when any fault occurs in the active server and the client 101 has a means for updating the location of the server when that notice is performed.
