The lock has a grooved casing which can slide under spring bias and can rotate in a sleeve. The casing is formed by a stack of plates or grooved sections (2). Each groove co-operates with a pusher (7) co-operating with a bit of the key (5). The profile of each pusher (7) co-operating with a groove has an angled section (7b) reproducing the angled ramp (6a) of the bit of the key.
