PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical selection reservation device which is better in operability and allows the rapid and easy selection of musical pieces. SOLUTION: The musical selection reservation device 5 is provided with a musical piece content file in which the music name notation data of original notation for display is stored, a music name retrieval table in which the music name read data of KANA(Japanese syllabary) character notation and IDs of the respective musical pieces are made correspondent and a register which stores the KANA character string data inputted by a user. The device retrieves the music name retrieval table with the KANA character string stored in this register as the conditions for the retrieval every time one KANA character is inputted. The device selects the music name read data including this KANA character string from the top and the musical piece ID thereof. The device fetches the music name notation data corresponding to the selected musical piece ID out of the musical piece content file and displays the same on a display 37 of the musical selection reservation device 5. The device has the specific music name selected by the user from this data and transfers the musical piece ID corresponding to the selected music name to the KARAOKE device 3. |
