PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the wireless keyboard device which makes use of a sound wave without requiring any dedicated reception part. SOLUTION: Character data inputted to a keyboard part 1 are converted by a conversion part 2 to sound wave data and this conversion part 2 converts the sound wave data by a transmission part 3 to a sound wave, which is sent from a keyboard means 4. Then a connected sound input part 5 receives the sound wave on the side of an information processing means 7 and the operating system incorporated in the information processing part 6 converts the sound wave to character data, so that the character input from the keyboard means 4 to the information processing means 7 becomes possible.
