PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine commutator which can secure sufficient attachment strength of a commutator segments and can securely prevent the commutator segment from lifting even under high speed rotation. SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric machine commutator 61 has a commutator base 65 which is driven to rotate in a direction around a shaft and a number of metal commutator segments 66 provided on the outer circumference of the commutator base 65 in a circumferential direction at intervals. A number of protruding parts 68 for supporting the commutator segments are formed on the outer circumference of the commutator base 65. The protruding parts 68 are made to protrude radially from the outer circumference of the commutator base, and the commutator segments 66 are respectively put on the protruding parts 68 so as to envelope the protruding parts 68 from the outside.
