SOLUTION: This device is provided with a lens effect liquid crystal panel 30 provided with a transparent common electrode 11 formed on one side of a liquid crystal layer 10 and a transparent linear electrode 9 formed on the other side with a prescribed pitch in a screen lateral direction and constituted so as to selectively form a first state for demonstrating the function of a lenticular lens for making an observer recognize a three-dimensional video image in the liquid crystal layer 10 and a second state for demonstrating the function of a non-lens transparent body for making the observer recognize the two-dimensional video image in the liquid crystal layer 10 and a voltage supply part 31 for supplying a voltage to the electrodes 11 and 9 of the lens effect liquid crystal panel 30.
