<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the synchronism acquisition time by acquiring synchronism on a time-division basis according to the correlation value from a correlation detecting means, which obtains the correlation value from the inurge-spread signal outputted by a inurge spreading means on a time-division basis. SOLUTION: The output of a inurge spreading device 16 is integrated by an LPF 17 and applied to one input of a comparator 18. Four kinds of thresholds from threshold storage circuits 25a to 25d are inputted on a time- division basis to the other input of the comparing circuit 18, and correlation results of four phases done in a one-chip time are stored in storage circuits 19a to 19d. A control circuit 20 decides the correlation results according to the results and instructs a PN-series generating circuit 22 to shift the phase, by a 2-chip time which is four time as long as a 1/2-chip time, when synchronism is acquired in node of four time divisions, thereby making a similar trial. When synchronism is not captured in any of the phase of a tried Gold code series, similar synchronism capturing operation is performed with another Gold code series.</p> |
