PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life CO sensor to correct a CO detected value deteriorated with the lapse of operation time. SOLUTION: An output current of a CO sensor decreases generally with the lapse of operation time as shown by a line L4. For correcting the decrease, a fixed correcting current is applied, for example, in each 1000 hours of lapsing operation time as shown by a line 5, to generate a warning by a corrected output current shown by a line 6. A warning in a CO concentration around 2000 ppm, or an advancingly notifying warning in a CO concentration a little bit lower than 1000 ppm is generated thereby in a hot water supplier with a CO sensor built-in.
